What’s Actually Included in an Ajman Free Zone Package?
An Ajman Free Zone visa package covers more than most people expect. Alongside the trade licence and a flexi-desk or office, it includes the establishment card, e-channel registration, the entry permit, status change, medical test, Emirates ID and visa stamping. The one thing left out is health insurance, which every visa holder needs. Higher tiers add more visas and bigger office space.
Every “package” in this industry can feel like a magic trick. Something gets shown to you with confidence, and you only find out what wasn’t in it once you’re holding the licence. With Ajman Free Zone visa packages, the surprise usually goes the other way. A lot more is bundled in than people assume, and the one real gap is easy to plan for if you know about it. So let’s open the box properly.
What’s Actually Inside an Ajman Free Zone Package?
Three things come with every package, whatever you pay. Every package has a trade licence, a visa allocation and an office solution. At entry level, that office is usually a flexi-desk or similar shared arrangement, not a room of your own.
Then comes the part people underestimate. In an Ajman Free Zone visa package, the visa process itself is bundled in. That covers the establishment card, which lets the company sponsor visas at all, and e-channel registration with immigration. It also includes the entry permit, the status change if you’re already in the UAE, the medical test, the Emirates ID and the final visa stamping.
In plenty of other setups, those items show up one by one as separate charges. Here they’re part of the package price. So when you compare an Ajman quote against another zone’s, check whether the other quote includes all of that too. Often it doesn’t.
So What Isn’t Included?
Health insurance. That’s the one.
Every visa holder in the UAE needs valid health cover, and it isn’t part of the Ajman Free Zone visa package. It’s easy to forget because everything around it is already handled. Budget for it per person. The cost depends on the plan you choose and the age of the person being covered.
A few other things sit outside any package simply because they depend on your choices. Extra visas beyond your package allocation, a bigger office, family members you sponsor personally and your bank’s own fees or minimum balance all fall into that bucket. None of these are hidden costs. They’re just separate decisions, and they’ll be priced as and when you make them.
How Do the Different Ajman Free Zone Tiers Actually Differ?
Tiers aren’t just “pay more, get more”. They scale along two specific lines, visa count and office type, and once you see that, comparing them gets much easier.
Entry-level tiers usually come with a small visa allocation and a flexi-desk. Mid-tier packages raise the visa allowance and can move you toward a more dedicated desk or small office. Higher tiers unlock proper office space and more visas again.
The trap is assuming a higher tier is automatically better value. If your business genuinely needs several visas and real office space because you’re hiring from day one, the higher tier is the honest cost of your business, not an upsell. If you’re a solo founder testing an idea, that same tier is spend on capacity you won’t touch for a year, if ever.
“The question I always tell people to ask isn’t “what’s the cheapest package,” it’s “what does my actual visa and office need look like in the next twelve months.” Buy for that, not for what sounds impressive or what the sales page nudges you toward. Overbuying a package tier is one of the more quietly wasteful mistakes I see founders make here.”

How Do You Compare Package Prices Fairly?
Line up what’s actually included before you compare numbers.
With Ajman, the visa processing is bundled in, so add health insurance for each visa holder and you’re close to your real first-year cost. With other zones or providers, ask item by item. Is the establishment card included? What about the entry permit, status change, medical, Emirates ID and stamping? Get it in writing if you can, because “included” has a habit of becoming “extra” after you’ve paid.
Once you’ve lined things up properly, the cheapest quote on paper sometimes turns out to be the most expensive in practice. Funny thing is, the quote that made you wince at first can end up the cheaper one. No surprise charges halfway through the visa.
