Job Summary
The Processing Officer plays a critical role in executing the end-to-end business setup process. This includes managing documentation, submitting applications, and coordinating with government authorities and free zones to ensure smooth and timely processing of trade licenses, company formations, and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- License Processing & Company Formation
- Prepare and process trade license applications, amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
- Coordinate with relevant government authorities (e.g., DED, Free Zones, DMCC, MOHRE, Immigration, etc.) for application submissions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all submitted documents and forms.
- Document Management
- Collect, verify, and maintain client documents required for license processing.
- Track application progress and maintain updated records on CRM and internal systems.
- Handle notarization, translation, attestation, and legal documentation as required.
- Internal Coordination
- Work closely with client service executives to ensure client requests are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Liaise with PROs and government liaisons to track approvals and resolve any processing issues.
- Provide timely updates to the internal team on the status of all client applications.
- Compliance & Accuracy
- Stay up to date with the latest regulations and compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
- Ensure all applications meet legal and regulatory standards before submission.
- Flag any inconsistencies or risks in client documents or application processes.
- Client Support (Backend)
- Support the client service team with backend operations and documentation-related queries.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling client and company information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in processing or documentation roles within the UAE business setup or related industry.
- Strong understanding of free zone and mainland business setup processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with government portals (DED, Immigration, MOHRE, etc.) and application systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple applications simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Zoho preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in the UAE.
- Bilingual (English and Arabic) is an advantage.
